Why Monday beats Tuesday for a relaxed movie night
Because Hoyts, Event, and Village concentrate their big discounts on Tuesdays, Tuesday night crowds can be huge on opening-week releases. Heading to a Palace cinema on a Monday night gives you the exact same discount price in a calmer cinema with a glass of wine or an espresso.
Mainstream blockbusters alongside festival gems
A common myth is that Palace only screens foreign-language arthouse films. Locations like Palace Pentridge, Palace Central, Palace Raine Square, and Palace Barracks play major wide-release blockbusters right alongside Cannes and Sundance winners.
