In short: Key takeaways

  • Build a co-curated Shared List for The Avengers, X-Men, Lord of the Rings, or Jack Ryan in seconds.
  • Toggle between Theatrical Release Order and Story Timeline Order with an automatic WATCH FIRST flag on film #1.
  • Every mate in the list sees which instalments you have knocked over and what is queued up for next weekend.
  • Compare craft scores across the franchise to settle which instalment had the best action, special effects, and villain performance.

Focusing on the core saga instead of 35-film homework

The biggest mistake with a Marvel or X-Men marathon is trying to force your mates through thirty-plus spin-offs before getting to the good stuff. Creating a tight 4-to-6 film Shared List on moviemates.social keeps the momentum high so you actually finish the run.

Scoring the evolution of the franchise

As your squad rates each film out of 100 across storyline, action, special effects, and performances, your Shared List becomes a leaderboard of the franchise.
